Ginger is a multi-faceted artist working in a variety of media, on occupied Sinixt land in so-called bc. She Is a settler here, and she pulls inspiration from her Celtic-Polish lineage and the pre-capitalist life her ancestors lived. Ginger’s art is centered around the land and explores themes of childhood, death, beauty, colonialism, and misogyny. She uses many techniques and materials to get her point across.

Ginger especially loves digital collaging, cyanotype, printing, and painting. She explores her many ideas In her daily practice of sketching.

Ginger is a firm believer that art heals. She uses art to express from within. The power to create something physical from what you feel on the inside is special.  Ginger sees the process of creating as meditation and therapy. Creating something disturbing feels comfortable and that's the contrast and contradiction she likes to see in her work. Ginger loves contrast and she often pairs harsh imagery with inviting beautiful colors. Some of her work has strong messages and meaning while other works of hers are more playful as she believes in a balance. Intimidating and inviting, warm and cold, life and death
